Geographically, the Town is located at the confluence of the Tulameen and Similkameen Rivers. In the early development of Princeton, this allowed for easy settlement as the confluence provided a generally flat and developable area with easy access to local resources. The downside to the development location is its susceptibility to flooding from both the Tulameen & Similkameen Rivers.
Where Rivers and Friends Meet

“It’s of high importance to our community for sure. Whenever we close the bridge for maintenance it has a major impact, for sure."
He said that “tough decisions will have to be made” in the future.
-Princeton CAO Lyle Thomas
